- ViewPost, an e-Invoicing and online payment solutions provider, secured $32M Debt financing. Link
- Iyzi Payments, a payment solutions provider for e-commerce enterprises, secured $13M in a Series C funding round led by Vostok Emerging Finance. The round also saw participation from IFC, 212. Link
- Dwolla, an interbank network and payment gateway provider, secured $6.85M funding from Union Square Ventures, Foundry Group, Next Level Ventures, Ludlow Ventures, High Alpha, Firebrand Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners. Link
- Fraugster, an AI-based payment fraud protection provider, has raised $5M in funding led by Earlybird, and accompanied by Speedinvest, Seedcamp and a large Swiss family office. Link
- BitPagos, a Bitcoin-based payment gateway, raised $1.9M in a Series A funding round led by Huiyin Blockchain Venture with participation from existing investors Digital Currency Group, Boost VC and Draper VC. Link
- SatoshiPay, a Bitcoin-based micropayment enabler, secured £700k funding from Blue Star Capital. Link
- FairFX gains e-money licence through acquisition of Q Money. Link
- Advent International and Bain Capital Private Equity are expected to acquire German payment processor Concardis from its consortium of bank owners for €700M. Link
- Anacap to acquire controlling interest in Germany’s payment gateway Heidelpay. Link
- The People’s Bank of China is to ban third-party payment providers, such as Alibaba-owned Alipay, from using their clients’ money. Link

- Ingenico ePayments, the online and mobile commerce division of Ingenico Group, and Ingenico Labs, its innovation department, announced a solution to provide eCommerce merchants with payment-enabled messaging bots. Link
