RECENT NOTABLE ACTIVITY – ECOMMERCE ENABLERS

  • Magento, an open source eCommerce software, raises $250M in PE round from Hillhouse Capital. Link
  • Salsify, a product content management and syndication platform, raised $30M in Series C round led by Underscore.VC, Venrock, North Bridge Venture Partners, Matrix Partners. Link 
  • Feedvisor, an Israel-based algorithmic repricing and demand planning platform for eCommerce marketplace sellers, secured $20M in Series B funding. Link
  • OrderGroove, a cloud-based subscription commerce platform, raises $20M in Series C round of funding. Link
  • CloudCraze, a SaaS for eCommerce storefront solution, raised $20M in Series B led by Insight Venture Partners, with participation from Salesforce Ventures. Link
  • SmarterHQ, a behavioral marketing automation platform, raised $13M in Series C led by Spring Lake Equity. Link
  • NowFloats, a solution that helps retailers build an online store, received a funding of $10M in a Series B round. Link
  • ShopCo, a Germany-based provider of checkout solutions, closed a $7M seed funding at a valuation of $27M. Link
  • Clutch, a customer management platform secures $5.25M in Angel round from undisclosed investors. Link

  • Montreal-based Propulse Analytics, a product recommendation solution, raised $1.4M in seed funding from Stradigi Ventures and Wobemail Online Services. Link
  • Imaginate, a Philadelphia-based VR/AR company, raised $500k in seed funding from SRI Capital. Link
  • Shipwallet, a shipping API for online merchants, raises $270k from Adlibris. Link
  • Bringhub, an e-commerce tool that enables users to shop directly from online published content, raised an undisclosed amount in Series A from Forbes Media’s majority shareholder, Integrated Asset Management (Asia) Limited (IAM). Link
  • Visual search platform, Slyce, got acquired by Anzu Partners, an investment firm, for an undisclosed amount. Link 
  • Commerce Sciences, a web personalisation platform, got acquired by Taboola, a content advertising, distribution, and monetization platform. Link
  • Data Age Business Systems, the developers of the industry-leading point-of-sale software, acquired SellerVantage, a SaaS-based multi-channel inventory management solution for retailers, for an undisclosed amount. Link
