  • TKing, an online platform to book tickets for concerts and professional theatre shows, raised $15M Series B round from Blue Lake Capital, DCM Ventures, Matrix Partners China, Nanshan capital, and K2 VC (Xianfeng Evergreen). Link
  • Tripleseat, a provider of event management solution for restaurants, hotels, and nightclubs, raised $7M Series A round from Level Equity. Link
  • Everfest, an online discovery and ticketing platform for festival events, raised $3.6M Series A round from Live Nation Entertainment and ATX Seed Ventures. Link
  • Attendease, a provider of event registration and event mobile app solutions, raised an undisclosed amount in a Seed round from 500 Startups Canada, Conconi Growth Partners, and 7 Gate Ventures. Link
  • 228.com.cn, an online platform to book tickets for sports, concerts, drama, and other events, raised an undisclosed amount in a Series A round from undisclosed non-public investment institutions. Link
  • eTouches, a provider of web-based event management software suite, was acquired by HGGC, a private equity firm, for an undisclosed amount. Link
  • Insider.in, an online event ticketing platform, sold majority stake to Paytm for $5.2M. Link
  • Alibaba Pictures Group, the entertainment arm of Alibaba Group, has acquired a majority stake in online ticketing platform TicketNew. Link
  • ePly, an online event registration software provider, was acquired by MemberClicks, a provider of membership management software for small-staff associations. Link
  • Conferize, a provider of white-label ticketing solution for events, IPOed on the Danish small cap stock market, Nasdaq First North Denmark. Link

Etouches (2008, Norwalk, $56M, Acq.) – Web-based event management software suite. Backed by Greycroft Partners, Cava Capital, CT Innovations, Argentum Group, Level Equity, and First Analysis. Acquired by HGGC in May 2017.
Certain (1994, SF, $29M) – Event management software providing online event registration, speaker & session management, event mobile apps and event check-in.
